2023 update: Finn is as healthy as any other cat. He is happy and purring but need humans for himself! His health keeps being good. Leukemia is non-active.
Finn was found running all a long a busy a dangerous road. He was extremely loud. The person went to check had no problem making him into a carrier. He was a bit skinny, probably 4 months old. Only one month later he changed his teeth to adult ones. His life as an indoors cat started. While in quarantine, the routine tests were conducted. We found out he was positive to FelV. Unfortunately and despite vitamines to boost his inmune system, FelV was confirmed thru a second test. While in the streets he had been beaten. It could come from there or from his mother.
Despite all that Finn is an extremely energetic cat. He is extremely happy. He likes other cats and is never agressive. Nor has he shown any aggressivity towards people. At the vet you easily hear his purrs. He is of course spayed. Vaccination will be done in March 2022. It was advised that we continue boosting his system for some time before the vaccines.
Finn can travel and most probably take walks outside on a leash. He is one of the easiest cats here. He cannot wait for his own family and maybe even a brother or a sister with the same condition.
